The students were able to use the newest technology in the field, and learn about the study and career path that can lead to surveying. Class 10 are currently undertaking a Work and College preparation #mainlesson. 15.01.2022 Congratulations to the Class 10 students on their graduation! Last night, the students, parents and staff celebrated their journey through Tarremah with dinner and speeches. Next week, the students head off on their final camp, the Overland track!

15.01.2022 Class 10 attended RYDA (Rotary Youth Driver Awareness) at the Hobart Showgrounds today. Hobart Rotarians facilitated a number of sessions aimed at reducing the high fatality rate in young drivers. Thank you to @rotarytasmania for an informative and enjoyable day!

06.01.2022 As part of the Book Week celebrations the 'Buy a book for the Library Campaign' will be closing 20 November 2020. If you would still like to purchase a book please come into the Library to view our selected titles. If you are unable to come into school you can make a monetary donation over the phone. Thank you to those who have kindly donated a book (or two!) to the Library, helping build our collection for all our users to enjoy. Many students and families are excited to borrow and share the new books in 2021.

Thank you Rosalie Woodruff MP for Franklin and Jacqui Petrusma for attending the ceremony, and excellent work to all the students and staff who were involved in the project since its fruition. 02.01.2022 Congratulations to the Class 9 and 10 students who participated in the @universityoftasmania Science and Engineering Challenge last week! Along with a number of other Southern Tasmanian schools, the students were given a range of STEM tasks to complete. These included building a hovercraft, a structurally sound bridge, a earthquake proof structure, and a turbine. Our students applied their knowledge of physics and maths to take out second place in the competition - well done everyone!

02.01.2022 Class 8 presented their Independent Projects to their peers today, and will present to their parents tomorrow evening. The project is an opportunity for students to develop a skill or to produce work under the tutelage of a mentor.
