04.01.2022 Recipe Alert Dishwasher Tablets 1 cup washing soda 1 cup bicarb ... 1/4 cup citric acid 1 cup kosher salt (I used Himalayan because I buy it in bulk) 5 drops essential oil 1 cup water (I used distilled water from IGA, stops mould growth) Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl or small bucket. Slowly add water until completely combined. Fill silicone moulds & allow to harden.(approx 1 hour) I always just throw my tabs in at the bottom of the dishwasher so wasn’t concerned about them not fitting into the tablet compartment. The recipe suggests 2 tbls of distilled vinegar but I just keep regular white vinegar next to my dishwasher tabs & just pour a small amount into dishwasher, down the inside of the door, just before shutting & turning on. The vinegar removes all soap & gives the brilliant shine!
