24.01.2022 Great beginning of Term 3 and lovely to see all our students back We had our rotations today. The 23 class is working on balls skills with Ms Carbone. The 456 class is learning about digital art. The P1s are making a comic about cyber safety, revising their knowledge in preparation for our incursion next week.
23.01.2022 To all the mum's - Have a great Mother's Day. Here is a song to remind you of all the things you may say in just one day We hope you get spoilt - you deserve it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uA8MXB9JZkk

19.01.2022 For this short week our value was ‘perseverance’ - awarded to Luca, Ryan, Sienna and William! Well done to our leaf and golden leaf recipients, for showing our school values in the classroom and the playground! A special mention to our two grade 3’s Isaac and Maggie for speaking wonderfully at assembly. ... Issac wrote about why students shouldn’t have homework. Maggie wrote about why students shouldn’t be doing all their work on computers. See more
17.01.2022 Celebrating our last day of term, organised by JSC. There were rotations of coding, art, scavenger hunt and an obstacle course. Later we had popcorn and watched a movie. A fabulous last day of term with fabulous kids. We wish the school community a happy, safe and relaxed break. We’ll see you again on the 13th of July

17.01.2022 A special Friday afternoon visit from Aunty Kylie with Simba and Nala the wombats and Lil the joey! The students were very excited to see them and as always learnt lots from Kylie about our local wildlife. I know I've definitely missed wombat cuddles while I've been away!

12.01.2022 What better way to end the week than a whole school STEAM (Science Tech Engineering Arts Math) activity? The students were asked to work as a team to design and construct a safety casing for an egg to be dropped at 2m in a limited time frame with limited resources. Who’d have thought education could be messy AND fun? P.S Well done to those students who made their JSC speech this afternoon. It takes courage to speak in front of your peers and you should be very proud of your efforts.

08.01.2022 Return to School Following advice from the Victorian Government on Tuesday 12 May, some students will be returning to school from Tuesday 26 May. The Victorian Chief Health Officer has advised that it is safe for students and teachers to return in a two-staged approach: Stage 1 from Tuesday 26 May: Students in grade Prep to Grade 3 will return to on-site schooling. Remote learning for these grades will cease on this date.... Stage 2 from Tuesday 9 June: Grade 4 to 6 students will return to on-site schooling, subject to health advice. For more information, please see the Newsletter in Compass. It is important that we work together and support each other during this challenging time. The Department’s latest advice on coronavirus can be found at www.education.vic.gov.au/coronavirus
07.01.2022 Welcome back grade 456 students! It was wonderful seeing all the senior students back at school today. And also seeing all of them- as for 8 weeks we have only seen their heads on a screen! It was smiles all around as they learnt together and supported each other. Students borrowed from the school library, read to their buddies and enjoyed a refreshing milk. We also welcomed a new student to our school today who slotted right into our school.
05.01.2022 Congratulations to the students this week who received awards for 'trying their best'. It was very hard for the teachers to select the recipients as so many students have had such a fantastic week! Congratulations to all the leaf award winners and also a big thank you to the Prep/1's who read out their recounts at today's assembly! What fantastic work!
05.01.2022 Much like most of your homes, school is also experiencing the power outage. All staff will be working from home today. Please direct all communication via the school email. Good luck and we hope your heaters are back on soon.
