24.01.2022 Three different eyes with three different problems all requiring immediate treatment. Always treat an eye problem as needing urgent care.

20.01.2022 It’s been foal city here in the last few weeks. It’s a great feeling to see the black dots on the ultrasound turn into such beautiful creatures!

20.01.2022 How to make a vet happy. Thanks for your cooperation ladies!

17.01.2022 One of today’s cases. Why oh why do horses stick their legs through fences! Thankfully the wound looks worse than it is and the damage appears to be only skin deep.

15.01.2022 If you are bringing a mare in and her name is Holly, Molly or Dolly I’m afraid you will have to change it!!

13.01.2022 For anyone concerned about vet work and the up coming breeding season, read where the red dot is. My area is currently in stage 3 but this list shows what is allowed in stage 4.

10.01.2022 Two of our current guests enjoying breakfast this morning! ( Photo posted with permission of the horse owners). Every horse is treated as if it was our own. Private picked up paddocks and fed according to their needs. Rugs on and off is no problem or any special dietary requirements. There are also meshed yards available currently being rested as I went a little overboard with the spray and herbi red!

09.01.2022 How special is this card! It makes everything worthwhile when you receive cards like this.

06.01.2022 Fashionista Vet today! I know it’s cold and wet but please make time to check your horse. A few cut legs around the place after the wild and windy weather.

05.01.2022 Breeding season is getting busy! The new rubber flooring in the hospital is fantastic. With frozen semen it’s important to be within 2 hours of ovulation. By feeding the mares in the crush they are much happier to come into the crush on a regular basis.

05.01.2022 Breeding season ready! New rubber floor last season, new paint and padding on the crush this season, the gardens are ready to show their spring beauty and the cat doesn’t really give a stuff!

05.01.2022 A big thank you to Bec Casey for my early Christmas gift. I will use this to celebrate 20 years in business! Thanks to all my lovely clients/ friends for making this possible.

05.01.2022 It’s good when things go well! Thanks Fiona and Bert for the lovely flowers

01.01.2022 After 8 months of not being able to see my family we finally caught up for lunch in between scans!
