19.01.2022 Sincere apologies for the delay. Sending out a big congratulations to the leaf recipients and award winners for politeness last Friday. We are so proud of you all. Also, prep transition was a roaring success with a play on the playground, strawberry hunt, chook visits and some art work of a shape monster. We look forward to welcoming you all again this Friday. Please remember to bring a sun safe hat, water bottle and piece of fruit.

19.01.2022 Our value for the week was ‘being encouraging’ and this award went to William, Bella, Clare and Reeve - congratulations! A big well done to our leaf recipients who have been demonstrating our school values in the classroom and playground.

19.01.2022 Transition day fun! All the students across the school had a fun morning in their new classes for 2021! The students had a chance to spend time with their new teacher and do some fun activities! The new Preps had their final transition day today. We loved meeting them and look forward to having them next year! And finally, good luck to the Grade 6 students for their transition tomorrow at LSC!

19.01.2022 Maths Fun Think about how tall you are.. if you had a ribbon the same height, how many times would it go around the circumference of your head? Today with Mr. Eddy and Ms. Pupetti, the 4,5,6’s made estimations and compared their results - have a go and ask one of our senior class experts about our findings

18.01.2022 Thank you all for an excellent first week here at Tarwin Lower Primary School! I have found the staff to be extremely caring, professional and helpful. The students all greeted me by name and made me feel welcome. This is a great place to be and I look forward to the rest of term 4 and next year! Mr Eddy Acting Principal

18.01.2022 Don’t forget tomorrow is our Prom excursion day. It is expected to be quite warm so please make sure your child is in appropriate school uniform and brings their lunch and full water bottle (or two). They will all need their school hats too.

11.01.2022 Another fantastic transition day for our new preps! We spent the day getting crafty, making stained glass butterflies and then making a self portrait with Ms Pupetti and some Grade 5 buddies. Well done to all our certificate recipients for taking pride in their work and well done to the students who read their leaves!

11.01.2022 Congratulations to the students this week who received awards for 'trying their best'. It was very hard for the teachers to select the recipients as so many students have had such a fantastic week! Congratulations to all the leaf award winners and also a big thank you to the Prep/1's who read out their recounts at today's assembly! What fantastic work!

08.01.2022 Watch out BIG School! Here we come! What a great first transition day we had! We played on the playground with our new friends, listened to a story and did some art and craft. We can't wait to see you all again next Friday!

06.01.2022 For this short week our value was ‘perseverance’ - awarded to Luca, Ryan, Sienna and William! Well done to our leaf and golden leaf recipients, for showing our school values in the classroom and the playground! A special mention to our two grade 3’s Isaac and Maggie for speaking wonderfully at assembly. ... Issac wrote about why students shouldn’t have homework. Maggie wrote about why students shouldn’t be doing all their work on computers. See more

02.01.2022 What a lucky school we are to have such an amazing range of caring and supportive teachers! Happy World Teachers' Day!

01.01.2022 Oh my goodness, what a big day it has been today. We welcomed our 2021 preps back today and with some easing of restrictions we were able to finally introduce them to our current preps. We played outside on the playground, read 'The Gruffalo' and made a mask with Ms D and had a PE session with Ms Carbone. In PE we played some fun games and completed an obstacle course. Bailey and Tom lead assembly today, however there were some technical difficulties so unfortunately there wi...ll be no recording to share. Well done to our certificate recipients for the week. They have shown a positive attitude over the week. Just a few leaves to celebrate today, well done to those people for their efforts and for making our school a great place to be. Be sure to check out the giant moth (?) that Lewis found on his lunchtime adventures. If you know what sort of creature it is, please comment as we were blown away by it's size! Have a lovely weekend families and community. See more
