25.01.2022 I was listening to ABC Kimberley this morning and felt compelled to start sharing more of the amazing tours that I have experienced in my 8 years in Broome Most of these businesses have just come out of a wet season, and will likely suffer through their busy season with no trade due to COVID-19. They will then have another wet season to follow and this is a possible 18 months without trade. This is so sad for a town that prides itself on Tourism and most of these busine...sses are run by local families. When this is all over, we must support the LOCAL Tourism Industry. Imagine Broome without these amazing businesses to showcase it. Todays photos are from a tour I did with Broome Hovercraft Eco Adventure Tours last year, when my family visited. I highly recommend this tour for a truly unique Broome Experience #visitbroome #australiasnorthwest

25.01.2022 LOVE LOVE LOVE When we get a unique house to photograph and this one is a goodie, right up my alley. . Postmasters is a renovated 1960s bungalow located on Pearlers Hill. It was originally the Broome Postmasters house, located on Hamersley Street (opposite the Courthouse) and was moved to its new position on Anne Street. To the rear is a separate bungalow, formally the Broome Child Health Centre, which was also relocated from its old location and given a new lease on l...ife on this massive block. . 13.01.2022 With this early rain that we have had in the past few weeks, I wanted to share some images from 2017/2018 wet season. This was Roebuck Plains in flood. The road was closed for a period of time and supermarkets were getting their food delivered by boat. It was truly an amazing sight to see and the locals took it all in their stride. I LOVE living in the North West, Mother Nature takes charge and always manages to impress ... #lovewhereyoulive #visitbroome #australia

13.01.2022 A few weeks ago, we were lucky enough to travel back to the East Kimberley again, a destination that has become a bit of a yearly pilgrimage for us. We've now been twice this year, but it is 2020, so anything goes. 12.01.2022 Want to be guided through the Purnululu National Park? Bungle Bungle Guided Tours is the way to go. We joined Pete, our super capable guide to discover all there is to know about the park. Offering tours to popular icons such as Cathedral Gorge, Echidna Chasm and Mini Palms you will be transported in their air-conditioned bus to all of the hot spots. Difficulty of the walks differs for each location. All tours are run at the best time of day to beat the heat and if you’re not that confident, then that’s what Pete is for. We highly recommend these tours if you don’t have your car with you or if you simply like to be educated whilst you take in the magnificent sites.

05.01.2022 An ABSOLUTE pleasure to stay at the superb Freshwater East Kimberley Apartments in Kununurra. The resort is so peaceful and well cared for and the staff, well what can I say 's all the way. There is a range of different sizes including Studios,1, 2 & even 3 bedroom apartments. They are centrally located and some even offer stunning views out to Lake Kununurra.... Highly recommend staying here if you are in Kununurra.
