15.01.2022 Seven students achieving an ATAR above 90 and 13 appearing on the Distinguished Achievers List across a broad range of subjects are highlights for this year’s HSC results at TAS. Dux of the School is Thomas Wu with an ATAR of 94.75. Not far behind was Jaden Carroll with 94.65. Rounding out the over 90s were Lucy Ball, Matthew Wark, Archer Howard, Edward Bell and Cotter Litchfield. Three Year 11 accelerants also achieved Band 6s: Georgia Donoghue achieved a mark of 99 in Mathematics Advanced; Hattie Oates (nominated for Encore) scored 97 in Music 1, and Mehdi Ahsan was also one of six students to secure a Band 6 in Mathematics Advanced. Congratulations to our higher achievers and indeed the whole Class of 2020!

11.01.2022 Sadly, we bid farewell this term to seven staff who have made valuable contributions to TAS: Mr Will Caldwell, Mrs Frances Tafra, Dr Helena Pastor, Mrs Arlene Fletcher, Ms Rachel Holford, Mr Tim Scott and Dr Inga Brasche. Between them have given 85 years service to the School in various capacities. We thank them for being part of our community in so many ways, and wish them well for the future.

08.01.2022 An international rugby referee with a doctorate in immunology who has also had a tour of duty in Iraq as a Captain with the British Army, has been appointed as the next Head of The Armidale School, TAS Board Chairman Mr Sebastian Hempel announced this morning.

03.01.2022 To the Class of 2020 - you've made it! Whatever your results today, remember the journey from now is yours, and there are pathways aplenty to help you get where you want to go. What you've learnt is not just what is in the textbooks but in the friendships forged, the challenges you have surmounted and the adventures you have shared. The test of character is the only result that will endure. All the best!
