24.01.2022 These four Finalists won’t let anything hold them back from actively contributing to their community and achieving their personal goals. Timothy Marks has been actively involved in 19 committees since becoming an amputee in 2010. He is a Lived Experience Consultant, VP and Southern Representative of the Tasmanian Amputee Society, Southern Representative for Limbs 4 Life. Brett Christie is a recipient of the SLSA Bronze Medallion. He has been a Surf Life Saving Club member s...ix seasons and returned from a leg amputation to coach nippers and complete his bronze medallion course. Patrick Rosevear volunteers with Rural Youth Tasmania and the Agfest Organising Committee despite a diagnosis of autism spectrum. He co-ordinates the Lids 4 Kids campaign and was selected for the 12-member Premier’s Youth Advisory Council. Judy Huett has actively worked in the Intellectual Disability Reference Group, advising the National Disability Insurance Agency board from her lived experience, the Independent Advisory Council and Speak Out Association of Tasmania.
