04.01.2022 Did you know? St. Aiden’s started out as a Sunday School of St. John’s church back in 1892. In 1894 it opened as part of St. John’s Anglican parish. It is named after St. Aiden who was played a part in the evangelisation of North Eastern England. The church was going to have a huge German Gothic, 80 ft tower but this never eventuated .
