21.01.2022 Our first auto-mezz curtainsider has hit the road this week, based out of our Latrobe head office. Another almost identical vehicle will join this one on the road in the coming days. These two are amongst eight new units added to our fleet over recent weeks, including UD Quon crane trucks in Latrobe, Launceston and Hobart, a UD Croner open rigid tray in Adelaide, 14 pallet UD Quon rigid curtainsider in Brisbane and a Volvo FH16 600hp Prime Mover in Melbourne. Our thanks, as always, to the teams at CMV Truck & Bus, Webster Trucks, UD Trucks Australia, Volvo Trucks Australia and Prestige Truck Bodies for their assistance in getting these vehicles on the road!

21.01.2022 Some great photos of the wooden racing yacht Varg on the first stages of her 17,000km journey to Hanko, Norway. This beautiful yacht was built in Norway in 1924, salvaged from Sydney Harbour as a near wreck in 2003, and superbly restored in Cygnet, roughly 50kms south of Hobart. Tasfreight were engaged to undertake the move from the Huon Valley in Tasmania, to Melbourne, where the Varg will be shipped to Norway. ... In August 2017, she will be Australias one and only challenger at the International 8-Metre Class World Championships in Norway. The team at Tasfreight have done a great job in planning & executing this movement & we wish the Varg team well with the World Championships!

Such a great cause & one that we are delighted to be able to assist on an annual basis. If you see their merchandise on sale, be sure to give them your support by making a purchase!

07.01.2022 A great feature from Fox Sports on the Devonport Strikers, including plenty of footage from our head office. This clip was shown on Fox Sports nationally on Tuesday night, prior to the Strikers winning their FFA Cup Round of 32 game against Northcote FC. Were looking forward to seeing the Round of 16 game, also in Melbourne, on Tuesday 21st of August. ... Congratulations Brayden, Joel and everyone at the Strikers!
