23.01.2022 Is 2020 over yet? The local music industry has been hit by all the obvious COVID things this year. To make that even worse, The Mercury Newspaper has decided to drop its weekly arts and entertainment section in Thursday's paper, and that includes the gig guide that we've been providing for over 20 years. But we've had a bit of thinking time, and we've got an even better way of getting the information to you. We've got your gig and event guide available online at https://tasgu...ide.com.au/event-list - with more detail than before. In addition to sharing information about events, we'll also be regularly sharing information about the Tasmanians who create and bring the music scene to life. We'll also bring you news about the venues that support live music, along with the inside word on great eateries, bars, breweries and distilleries. We're back, baby!
