23.01.2022 The Tasmanian Gun Club is pleased to announce that we will be celebrating the 2017 clay target shooting year by having a counter meal at the Prince of Wales hotel in Evandale on the 9th of December at 7:00pm. Any members, family and friends are more than welcome to attend, however we will need RSVPs by the 26th of November to confirm numbers. Please message us through the page or email Alex if you would like to attend. Guests will be able to choose from the Prince of Wales menu (so costs will vary), and we will be throwing a few dollars on the bar for drinks. We hope to see you all there!

23.01.2022 It is absolutely beautiful out here for the practice day! The sun is shining and there isnt any wind, perfect conditions to come and practice! Practice is now open for both DTL and skeet so come on out and hit some targets!

22.01.2022 Hi Everyone, We would like to advise that we will NOT be open for practice on Wednesday next week, however we will be running practice on Friday next week from 1:00pm (official skeet practice). We will have at least 1 DTL and two skeet layouts open, with token sales from the club office. $5 for 1 token (15 targets), and two tokens for a round of skeet. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

22.01.2022 NEW BOUNDARY FENCE Work has started on the new boundary fence. Graeme, Andre, Jo and Sallee put in 260 star droppers today. Help is needed tomorrow (from 10 onwards) to help tie the wire onto droppers. Please bring your own set of pliers - lunch will be supplied. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

21.01.2022 Apologies everyone, there was a slight error with the results from Sunday, Nick was shooting clays only and for some reason MCMS didnt automatically adjust the winners to take this into account. The 50 T Double Barrel C grade winner was Alex Calvert with 44/50 and the 50 T Point Score C grade winner was Ian Palmer with 125/150. All other results are unchanged. We apologize for any inconvenience.

21.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Practice will be available tomorrow from 2:00pm onwards, so make sure to come out and smash some targets!

19.01.2022 G'day Shooters, Practice is still on this Wednesday, from lunchtime onwards. Hope you all have a wonderful and commemorative ANZAC day! -Benno

02.01.2022 The Tasmanian Gun Club wishes all shooters, family and friends a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. This week will be our last week of Wednesday practice for this year, and practice will resume on the 10th of January 2018. We have decided that the 75 T Champion of Champions on boxing day will be shot from 15 metres to keep consistency with the champion of champions events held in previous years. We were previously going to shoot it from 18m, however this would have changed the criteria for the event. Please spread the word that we are shooting from 15 metres, not 18 as previously advised.

01.01.2022 A beautiful day here at the Tasmanian Gun Club for day 1 of the TCTA State carnival. Event 1, the 75 target champion of champions, will commence from 12 noon and will be shot from 18m. All 75 targets will be on the same layout. If you can make it today please come along!
