21.01.2022 Whatever your interest in history or heritage, now's the time to give some thought to attending our event this November. Whether you're a living history group, artisan or vendor of the unusual , you should make a point of in-boxing us to enquire about attending this premier event. Representations from all time periods and cultures welcome and not just local but also interstate and international groups are encouraged to message us for details.

10.01.2022 As the Winter has now officially arrived, the time is near for us to once again host another of our Early Medieval camping trips, this being the 5th since our i...nception in 2016. Our encampment will be further expanded and enhanced this year by the addition of two large Early Medieval tents which some members are currently working on. These tents will aid us in creating a much more immersive environment for our members as we attempt to re-create our chosen time period at an isolated and wintry Tasmanian location. The goal for these events each year is to be better than the last, with authenticity and historical immersion being some of our foremost considerations. These events are also a good opportunity for our members from the North and South of the state to come together and share their skills, stories, ideas, etc. As is always the case, the second day of the four day event will be open for the public to come along and observe what we do and learn more about who we are as a group. 03.01.2022 This page and the event it advertises will shortly change it's name from 'The Midlands Military Meet & Rendezvous, Tasmania' to 'The Tasmanian History and Heritage Fair'. Under this new name, a date for another event is hoped to be established for later this year at Campbell Town. (Y)

01.01.2022 The inaugural Tasmanian History & Heritage Fair will be a kaleidoscope of stalls and events. We are hoping to have stalls from many of the collectors clubs in Tasmania with a focus on Tasmanian History. There will also be static and live action displays going on in the main arena and around the grounds. A smorgasbord of Local and International History awaits you. So immerse yourself in past for the day and join us at Campbell Town this November.
