13.01.2022 After the rain .... The place looks amazing at the moment and the horses are enjoying being surrounded by grass. They are not enjoying quite so much the outbreak of biting insects from itch inducing midges to march flies.

12.01.2022 The bittersweet. One of the things I will definitely not miss about breeding foals is gelding colts. It is always worrisome. These are my last two colts, well colts no more. Gelded yesterday morning they seem oblivious to the momentous occasion it was.
