Name: Phil Skinner Where are you from? Local Tasmanian ... What is your role at TLX? My role at TLX is helping with yard maintenance during the week then on sale days I assist in the receival and delivery of livestock. What is your history prior to working at TLX? I started working in the meat industry at 15 and I’m still pretty much in it! I’ve also spent the last 6 years working in the aviation industry however most of my background has been in the retail meat industry around Launceston including owning and working in butchers shops. What is the most rewarding part of your job? Being able to work outside and with the animals as well as working with the rest of the TLX team. Where do you see yourself in five years time? I’d like to still be working casually for TLX whilst running my business Skinner's Mobile Butchery successfully at the same time. Who’s your favourite sports team/ sports person? Melbourne Demons.
