24.01.2022 Are you a unique crafter, maker, cooker or just downright industrious lover of Garlic? We are too . The 2021 KGF Team are currently fielding applications f...or stallholders to jump onboard and be part of the action. With a limit of 50 epic stalls, preference understandably goes to vendors with the garlickiest of vibes so pull your garlic pants on, roll up your sleeves and submit your application strictly prior to 20th December 2020 . So, if you super dig selling quality garlic, garlic-inspired products, gourmet garlic-inspired food or quality beverages then you know what to do . Forms and info are on our fancy website (link in bio) and successful applicants will be notified by 31st December See more

A KABTAS (Community Ki...ndness Award) was given to our club for its role in distributing Crunch Meals for 5 months during COVID restrictions and was presented to Imelda on behalf of the Dunalley Tasman Neighbourhood House for producing up to 100 Crunch Meals each week. Imelda was proud to say she has a great deal of support from other club members and their partners during those very challenging first few months of the pandemic. 07.01.2022 That's right folks, The Koonya Garlic Festival is on track to bring garlic lovers and experts together again on Saturday 27th February 2021 . The clever KGF T...eam've been working hard to ensure a wonderful and safe festival, with a maximum of 3,000 ticketed attendees and 50 stalls of garlicky goodness to peruse and enjoy . No matter what, the iconic Garlic Competition is going ahead so keep fussing over those bulbs. For the festival, any cancellation due to COVID directives will result in 100% refund of ticket price excluding booking cost to patrons and stallholders . In these upside down times, the big heart of our little festival has never been more driven to succeed. We're going full clove crazy for Garlic this year so stay tuned and head over to the website for details See more

02.01.2022 Hi folks Well that was a longer break than I anticipated but we have got the go ahead to start our working bees again so the next Impression Bay working bee wil...l be on next week: Date: Thu 17-Sep Time: 9:30 until a bit later Place: opposite the Premaydena shop (by the saltmarsh sign please leave some room for the trailer and others) As with any event at the moment: please don't attend if you are feeling unwell we will be taking measures to avoid contact with each other and we’ll minimise the sharing of equipment so if you can bring your own gloves that will help The good news - most of the plants that have gone in have done really well. A few didn’t like standing in water for such a prolonged period but hopefully they’ll recover as the area dries out. We’ve got around 50 plants to go in on Thursday and there’s plenty of weeding around the recent plantings to do as some of them are getting a bit swamped by grass. It’s likely we’ll try and have a couple of extra sessions quite soon to get the rest of the plants in (another 100) whilst there’s still a bit of rain around. So if you can’t make Thursday don’t despair. As always, all welcome.
