21.01.2022 We are looking forward to opening again this Monday 30th November. If you are currently in Tasmania looking for work or looking at arriving in Tasmania soon we have work available immediately in apple thinning, weeding and factories. Arrive Monday 30th Nov and start work Tuesday 1st December. We basically have work for guests who are arriving in the next 1 to 2 weeks with minimum to no waiting time. 21.01.2022 Tasman Backpackers open for the start of the this years harvest season on Monday 29th October 2018. Bookings can be made now at www.tasmanbackpackers.com.au for October and November. Work will be available in the opening week in hand weeding and planting. We look forward to an awesome year ahead!!

19.01.2022 Farm work is available at Tasman Backpackers from December 1st 2020. Many people are required to work on farms/factories this season. Tassie is a great place to work, explore and have fun this summer! All borders to Tasmania are open (no quarantine) except for SA (opening soon). Flights to Tasmania can be booked with Jetstar and Virgin Blue. The Spirit of Tasmania (Ferry) sails directly from Melbourne to Devonport daily. 17.01.2022 The weather is beautiful in Tassie at the moment. Lots of sunshine = lots of work. Plenty of work available now at Tasman Backpackers. Peak harvest season has started and many jobs will be available in raspberry, blueberry, cherry picking and packing. Factory work and potato harvesting will start in January. 16.01.2022 The harvest season has started to slow down but workers are still required for the next few months in packing jobs in factories, fish factories, potato harvesters and brussel sprout harvesters, most jobs this time of year are hourly paid. 01.01.2022 Due to Covid 19 Tasman Backpackers will be opening slightly later this season on November 30th. The borders to Tasmania are opening to most states on the 26th October and you will no longer have to quarantine on arrival. If all goes well Tasmanian borders to all states will be open by the beginning of December. Bookings can now be made through our website. There will be a lot of work this season starting December, which will last until the end of August (some longer) next year. We look forward to seeing both old and new faces this season!
