25.01.2022 Dear friends of the Tasmanian Chamber Music Festival, I hope you are all holding up well in these uncertain times. At this stage, we are still looking forward to bringing divine chamber music to the picturesque northern Tasmanian midlands in October 2020.... The health and wellbeing of our friends and our community is our number one priority and as such we will continue to monitor the situation closely, and will keep you informed accordingly. You can also stay-up-to-date with plans for this years Tasmanian Chamber Music Festival by liking our Facebook and Instagram pages. Id like to reassure those who have already purchased tickets will be eligible for refunds in the worst case scenario, however we are optimistic about the festival going ahead as planned. While physically attending any concerts in the near future may be impossible, thankfully there are a number of terrific initiatives stepping up to fill the void. Brilliant music is one of lifes best antidotes Id encourage you to check out the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestras Daily Dose via the link below to get your fill. https://www.tso.com.au/tso-daily-dose/ Please look after yourselves, stay well and keep your spirits high. Kind regards Allanah Dopson

06.01.2022 Longfords Christ Church illuminated by candlelight at the 2018 Tasmanian Chamber Music Festival. We cant wait to return to this stunning venue when @VanDiemensBand perform in October.

05.01.2022 A feature event of our 2019 program, the Mozart merry-go-round will be a musical tour like no other, featuring three stunning Mozart recitals performed by three tremendous groups in an historic barn, a beautiful ballroom and one of Tasmanias most charming churches. We like to think Wolfgang Amadeus would enjoy our merry-go-round more than the one here.

05.01.2022 Thanks Limelight Magazine for the wonderful story about our Mozart merry-go-round, set to be a highlight of this years Tasmanian Chamber Music Festival. Were counting down the days until the first note is played later this month!

04.01.2022 Mountford Estates grand ballroom was a fitting setting for two of Australias grandest classical artists Daniel de Borah and Greta Bradman.

03.01.2022 The basset horn is a sometimes-misunderstood instrument, which was almost lost to the annals of history. Thankfully, Mozart was one of the instruments biggest advocates, saving it from extinction. We are excited to bring you the Trio di Bassetto (Chris Waller, Andrew Seymour and Robert Schubert) as part of the Mozart merry-go-round musical tour at the 2019 Tasmanian Chamber Music Festival.
