25.01.2022 Today marks 1 year of being the new owners of this amazing business. What a year it has been, we are so thankful to all of our clients and employees who have supported us through this first year, and excited to see what the future holds. This year has proved to us, take a risk and follow your dreams, you won’t know what could be until you give it your best shot We are also excited to share our new website (finally!)

24.01.2022 One of the many beautiful horses we have had the pleasure of moving this week #tasmanianhorsetransport #horsetransport

24.01.2022 This little guy had a fair bit of room to spare on his trip across the water, slightly smaller than our usual passengers, what he lacks in size he makes up for in cuteness #tasmanianhorsetransport #tasmaniandonkeytransport #travelswiththt #THTapprentice

23.01.2022 Loading up Melbourne bound on a late sailing on the #spiritoftasmania its a quick turnaround to return with the last of the #tasmaniansummerracingcarnival interstate runners tomorrow night. Then its all wheels on deck for the yearling sales on Monday!! #wasthatadadjoke

23.01.2022 Dropping off this lucky girl who has had a big road trip all the way from Bymount, QLD to Sunbury, Vic. She had a spring in her step hopping off the truck during a light shower and surrounded by green grass! She also bought a friend with her, they are very lucky girls who wont be lifting their heads for a while! #tasmanianhorsetransport #travelswiththt #clydesdales #horsetransport

21.01.2022 Today was reunion day for THTs new business owners Elesha (nee Pilgrim) and Rodney Spillane. They spent many years involved in the thoroughbred racing industry, in that time they trained talented mare Speedy Sky (6 wins including the 1000 Guineas and a 2nd in the Devonport Cup). Pictured below in her racing days, she was always a stable favourite, a tiny filly with the heart of a lion. We were so excited to pick her up today from Swettenham Stud to head home to Tassie, and we think she was just as excited to see us #travelswithTHT #Tasmanianhorsetransport

21.01.2022 One of the first sponsorship opportunities presented to us as new owners of THT was the opportunity to sponsor the Young Rider Championship at the 2019 Jumping Tasmania State Titles held in December 2019. We offered the winner of this event a travel voucher for interstate travel, we could not have been happier to see this voucher awarded to a very talented up and coming rider, Georgia Van Der Drift and her beautiful OTT mare Jasmine. Georgia and Jasmine embarked on a trip n...orth recently, taking up a position as a working pupil for Prue and Craig Barrett. Our voucher made the trip a little easier on Georgia and her family, and allowed this combination to remain together, Jasmine makes no secret of the fact she prefers to travel in our trucks more so than her own float, just ask Georgias mum #travelswithTHT #youngrider #OTT #Tasmanianhorsetransport #jumpingtasmania See more

20.01.2022 Not long after becoming the new owners of Tasmanian Horse Transport we were privileged to transport long term THT clients, @lydiajackson4266, @kimsymmons and @parsons.mandy precious warmbloods to the National Dressage Championships at Boneo Park. We received this testimonial after their trip, thank you ladies for your glowing feedback it is much appreciated and we look forward to your next trip! #travelswiththt

20.01.2022 Tasmanian Horse Transport wheels into a new year under new ownership When the opportunity presented itself Elesha and Rodney Spillane along with their two sons Charlie and Jack knew that this iconic Tasmanian business was a perfect fit for their family. With decades of involvement in the racing industry and a large variety of equestrian disciplines, breaking, training and competing, there is no question how passionate this family is about their horses. Add to that Rodneys ...years of interstate and local truck driving experience, including managing a fleet of freight trucks, there really couldnt be a better business to fit with their strengths and passion. The 2 youngest family members have inherited the love for horses and are also very impressed by the luxurious trucks! The business has also retained the services of regular interstate driver Rodney Price, another knowledgeable, astute horse person and driver, and a valuable member of the THT team. All contact details remain the same, Elesha will be the voice behind the phone; 03 64961777 0428 141 419 [email protected] We look forward to continuing the first class service for you and your precious horses, locally and interstate. #travelswithTHT #tasmanianhorsetransport #horsetransport #undernewownership

19.01.2022 On Wednesday 22nd of July Tasmanian Horse Transport delivered this little gem, RAGHU, He has been every where from NZ to HK to Victoria and now the apple isle. ...Claire was pretty impatient to give the new kid a spin so his welcome to Tassie was a -1 morning on the 23rd (felt like -4) with a nice stretch of the legs and a bit of pampering! Thank you to Tasmanian Horse Transport for yet again delivering our cargo with a smile and in perfect order #tasmanianhorsetransport #THT #HamerRacing #TritonLodge #Raghu #Roo

19.01.2022 Devonport Cup day was very different today with Covid restrictions but was a good day none the less. Was great to get the team together even if slightly different from our normal cup days. Congratulations to all winners particularly our home town back to back cup winner Newhart.

18.01.2022 Dressage Tasmania is pleased to announce Arena Sponsor Tasmanian Horse Transport! When the opportunity presented itself, Elesha and Rodney Spillane along with ...their two sons Charlie and Jack knew that this iconic Tasmanian business was a perfect fit for their family. With decades of involvement in the racing industry and a large variety of equestrian disciplines, breaking, training and competing, there is no question how passionate this family is about their horses. Add to that Rodney's years of interstate and local truck driving experience, including managing a fleet of freight trucks, there really couldn’t be a better business to fit with their strengths and passion. The 2 youngest family members have inherited the love for horses and are also very impressed by the luxurious trucks! THT understand that choosing the right transport service to deliver your horse is vitally important to you, and believe that their combination of safe, high quality vehicles, experienced caring staff, and professional attitude and service, will more than satisfy your requirements.

13.01.2022 Great to see the horses back on the grass at Elwick Racecourse in Hobart this morning! Gaining the tick of approval from a couple of jockeys who have done plenty of laps around that course previously. The countdown is on to #tasmanianderbyday #tasmaniansummerracingcarnival

12.01.2022 At the very beginning of the Covid lock down we were asked to pick up a much loved pony from a close family friend, the pony had been sold interstate to make room for the next superstar It broke all our hearts having to take away this dearly loved pony, and of course when borders then closed it made horse hunting for the replacement very difficult Well today was a much happier occasion, we got to deliver the next star and mend the heart we broke a few months ago judging by this reaction I think we are forgiven

10.01.2022 On a recent trip to the Northern New South Wales Coast we met a property manager a little different to the usual ones we deal with, Abigail takes her job very seriously and escorted our driver right into the parking area of this beautiful property. It takes more than torrential rain to stop Abigail! #travelswithTHT #NSWhorsetransport #tasmanianhorsetransport #firstclassalltheway
