16.01.2022 What a terrific day. Day 1 on the North West Insights Tour saw us visit Elphinstone, Maltec, Norfolk Blinds, Jayben and Hellyer Road Distillery. Participants came from all over the state to gain an insight into manufacturing on the North West. We will be running similar tours in the North and South in the coming months.

12.01.2022 That’s a wrap. 3 days of incredible speakers at The TMEC What good looks Like conference. Speakers shared insights, advice and stories. Thanks to the hundreds of attendees and the 42 brilliant speakers.

11.01.2022 Well done to Weld Australia for hosting the 2018 National Manufacturing Summit at Parliament House. The summit was an excellent opportunity to discuss Advanced Manufacturing in Australia and some of the current issues including a national skills shortage and energy costs. Interestingly there has been over 50,000 new jobs created in Manufacturing in the last two years with in Australia, manufacturing is growing. A shortage of skilled workers could limit this growth unless we find some answers.
