17.01.2022 The Tasmania Trail is going smooth for this champion. Just passed 190km at approx 17hrs. Now for some hot chips and hoping to hit half way tonight

03.01.2022 28.8.20 Repulse Bridge An enquiry to the HEC has revealed that only vehicles are restricted from using the Repluse bridge(point 9.7, page 50) Trail users can continue to use the structure to cross the Derwent River. The existing barriers are set back enough to allow bikes and horses accessing the bridge. In the not too distance future all access will be prohibited while repair or upgrading work will be undertaken.

01.01.2022 12 Nov 2020 Current status - Being controlled, no alert level. 9 Nov 2020 Reported that the fire is being controlled but hot weather tomorrow and northerly winds may push the fire towards the Trail. 8 Nov 2020... A fire has started in Stage 12 of the Trail at about point 14.3 on page 55 of the guidebook (SE of Mt Bethune). Not a lot is known at this time but 4 fire units are in attendance. Users should avoid the area. See more
