24.01.2022 We were happy to hear that the State Government has brought forward the Stage 2 restrictions and that they will come into effect at 3.00pm, Friday 5 June 2020. At this point we are still working closely with the relevant government & industry bodies to ensure we are safe to begin operation. We haven't confirmed a date as yet for our tours and experiences but we will be announcing these as soon as we are able. ... Thank you all again for your continued support over this time and we look forward to seeing you all aboard again soon. Shane, Nick & the TWSA team

24.01.2022 We are counting down the days until the launch of Gordon Ramsay's National Geographic "Uncharted". You may even spot Gordon Ramsay and Shane Wilson (one of TWSA's founders) heading out to dive for crayfish off of Tasmania's Forestier Peninsula. The bones of last year are evident this year, stripping back the layers and really understanding the DNA of local food, says Ramsay. I like to start at the beginning of the journey, to understand how the foundational blocks of that ...cuisine were layered to build the reputation that exists now. When I meet these local chefs who are key to that level of discovery, I really want to be mentored by them. I don’t know what they know, and I want to learn it. 23.01.2022 Shane & Chef Gordon Ramsay share a moment cooking Tasmanian Rock Lobster Tasmania was incredible, says Ramsay. The ingredients have been lavish, and everything’s just so majestic in the way that it’s pure and untraveled. But it’s the combination of the food elements and what’s going on lifestyle-wise that makes it shine. Image courtesy of National Geographic - Photographer Justin Mandel

23.01.2022 This time last year we were down at the iconic Shipstern Bluff (the heaviest wave break in the Southern Hemisphere!) for the 2019 Red Bull Cape Fear competition. We facilitated the entire marine logistics for this world-class event and utilised our vessels 'Cuttlefish', 'Wet Edge 1' and 'Seaducer III'. It was great to see many of our local Tassie lads get the call up for this event and battle it out with the best big wave surfers in the world.... 22.01.2022 Wonderful Tasmanian native sea urchins made into scrambled eggs. Caught by co founder Shane Wilson and cooked by Gordon Ramsay on his recent adventures throughout our amazing state.

20.01.2022 Tassie’s seafood is renowned worldwide and best enjoyed locally (just ask Gordon Ramsay!) It’s been a while since we last posted but our TWSA team have been working hard behind the scenes. We’re delighted to announce that we’re back open for business & running our first Deep-to-Dish Experience this SATURDAY 1st August.... Enjoy sipping on local wine and craft beer whilst dining an abundance of the freshest seafood our island state has on offer - think sweet Tassie rock lobster, creamy oysters, flash fried abalone and plump mussels (just to name a few!) Sit back & watch on as our diver plucks periwinkles and urchins straight from the sea for you to sample. Soak up the pristine scenery and dramatic sea cliffs as you experience Tassie a little differently, cruising on our luxury catamaran to Bruny Island return. If you’re in Hobart this Saturday we invite you to indulge on our 4.5h tour departing from the Hobart Wharf at 1:30pm. As always, your safety is our priority and we have implemented our COVID safety plan that will be strictly adhered to on all experiences. 16.01.2022 An Important Message to guests, friends and followers, Based on the information provided on the COVID-19 situation this morning we have had to temporarily suspend our tours from both of our vessels ‘Cuttlefish’ (Hobart) and ‘Seaducer’ (Swansea) from 12pm today. As devastating as this is for the tourism industry, we welcome these restrictions and measures that have been put in place to protect lives. We are bound together by this current situation and we each need to do our pa...rt to ensure those most vulnerable are protected. We want to thank each and everyone of you for your ongoing support of Tasmanian Wild Seafood Adventures. We know many people are in a similar situation, especially those hardest hit in the tourism and hospitality industries. During this time of uncertainty, we implore you to support your local businesses where (safely) possible. Let’s take this time to implement, change, create, recalibrate and dream big for the future. We will continue to monitor the ever-changing situation and look forward to returning to the tourism industry when we are able. Regards, - Shane & Nick Founders, TWSA

13.01.2022 While I’ve done a lot of diving in my life, I’ve never quite experienced anything as majestic, or more rewarding, as catching a Tassie cray. - Gordon Ramsay TWSA Founders Shane & Nick are pictured with Gordon (and their catch of crays!) aboard our vessel 'Cuttlefish' in February. "It was a pleasure to show Gordon our own backyard and all bountiful seafood it has to offer. His passion for fresh food and enthusiasm to join in was great!" - Shane & Nick... 12.01.2022 "What does it taste like?" is one of the questions we're asked most when our divers ascend from the deep with a bag full of sea urchin (uni) ready to sample on our Deep-to-Dish experience. Served fresh from the shell the flavour is delicate, creamy and ocean-like with a hint of sweetness and saltiness. Are you keen to sample some of Tasmania's freshest seafood?
