13.01.2022 AATFA is currently in the process of planning this year’s events, however, due to Covid19, we are not able to prepare for AATFA as we normally would. Moving fo...rward, we have set June 30 as the deadline for announcing the format for AATFA 2020. We encourage Teachers, Students and Parents to keep updated via our website, or contact each State AATFA Coordinator directly - https://www.aatfa.org.au/contact-us

12.01.2022 Before we announce the category winners for this years event we would like to say a big Thankyou to the dedicated schools, teachers and students for entering this years AATFA competition This year has certainly been a challenge with Covid 19 but we still wanted to run the event, so this year we did things a little different and went to a virtual event, students submitted their entries with photos or videos and these were complied and then judged We look forward to being abl...e to bring the event back to the catwalk next year Each category will now be posted with the winners and a short video of the winning garments Congratulations to all our entrants that entered this year all the entries were amazing as per usual Also a big Thankyou to David Boatwright from DB Tech services for all his help in compiling all the entries and the winners videos

06.01.2022 Attention Students, Teachers and Parents, AATFA is devastated to announce that we won’t be proceeding with an official State or National Final this year due to Covid19. Some States are conducting online/virtual events and we encourage you to visit State pages at aatfa.org.au for relevant State information.... We are still planning on going ahead with a state final in some format, more info to follow in the coming weeks In addition, students who are in their final year of Secondary and submit an entry prior to November 21, will have an EXEMPTION to participate in the 2021 State Final. We will be in touch with further details via email and our Facebook pages within the coming weeks. Please PM us or email [email protected] if you have questions.
