24.01.2022 Theres even beauty to be found in the fog in Tasmania if you take the time out to look...the walking track along the winding river banks in Launceston is a wonderful way to relax, clear your head and prepare for a busy day.
24.01.2022 I feel like Launceston has been so spoilt in recent years with so many gorgeous new hotels coming on line. The newest hotel in town was due to open their doors in May. Take a peek, it looks incredible

21.01.2022 Sunsets and beaches always seem better when shared with those you love
20.01.2022 We are really enjoying making ourselves home in Tasmania. On the weekend we were amazed by the scenery on the Tasman Peninsula. We had so much fun and found there is so much to see that we have already made plans to go back! There are lots of accommodation options for a range of budgets from the caravan park, holiday homes to Port Arthur Villas our motor inn.... This stunning view is of Isle of the Dead.

18.01.2022 Checking out Thailand for a retreat destination. Mai Khao is near a national park. It has beautiful beach and lots of activities on offer. So much for the whole family to do in this gorgeous place!
18.01.2022 The past week has been so devastating to watch from afar. My sister and her family have been in an evacuation centre since New Years Eve in Batemans bay and my brother and his family surrounded by fires for weeks at Ulladulla. Batemans Bay is still without power and has limited food supplies and petrol. Thankfully my family is all safe and are lucky that they still have their homes. They are the lucky ones, but their neighbours and friends have not been so lucky.... My sister in law is directly involved in this local group that is trying to rebuild their community. If you would like to donate, here are the details. Thank you and stay safe x

16.01.2022 What do you to to celebrate the winter solstice?
16.01.2022 So excited to spot coral fungi at Notley Fern Gorge. A short 20 minute drive from Launceston and you feel like youre in the middle of the wilderness. Great for a family walk. ... Not a good track for people who have difficulties walking due to hills and uneven paths.
13.01.2022 It is hard to find words to prelude this story, so I will not try. Our love and thoughts go out to everyone around the country (Tasmania included) who have already been impacted, those who continue to experience fires, drought and now cyclones, and in the massive recovery ahead. THANK YOU do not seem to be adequate words to say to all the firefighters and emergency services people who continue to battle the blazes and keep us safe.
11.01.2022 Always a pleasure at Frank Restaurant in Hobart.

07.01.2022 A walk or run with friends is alway great fun! Good for the mind, body and soul! Point to Pinnacle registrations opened today..:weve done the last 3 with friends. The first 2 were walking and last year we ran - Bron ran to the pub (10km) and John to the top! ... When we did our first Point to Pinnacle we would never have thought that running any of it would be possible, but we started with short distances and have gradually increased our fitness and stamina. Have a go, get some friends to come with you! Take little steps each day to improve your health and take up the challenge...your body will thank you!
