24.01.2022 Described as a ‘colonial work of art’ and the ‘heart of Evandale’ St Andrews Uniting Church has played host to concerts at every Tasmanian Chamber Music Festival, here’s to many more.

23.01.2022 It’s encouraging to see restrictions beginning to ease in Tasmania, and we are still optimistic about bringing you divine music in the northern midlands this October. The health and safety of all involved will always take precedence, and we will continue to monitor the situation as it develops with the view to making a final decision on July 1. Until then, keep your spirits high, and make the most of this downtime to discover and enjoy the arts online.... It certainly helps soothe the soul!

22.01.2022 Cheers to 2020! Tasmania is very lucky to be home to some of the world’s finest sparkling grapes. We think @josefchromy’s end product is the perfect accompaniment to world-class chamber music as well.

20.01.2022 Mountford Estate’s grand ballroom was a fitting setting for two of Australia’s grandest classical artists Daniel de Borah and Greta Bradman.

17.01.2022 We've got some exciting news... The line-up of artists for the 2020 festival has gone international! Fresh from taking First Prize in both the Bordeaux and Banff international String Quartet competitions in 2019, the young UK based @marmenquartet will give its only Australian performances in 2020 at the Tasmanian Chamber Music Festival.... The Quartet will be joined by the wonderful UK based, Australian pianist Piers Lane to play the Schumann Piano Quintet in the opening concert on Friday night at the Falls Pavilion in Evandale. Other acts we are thrilled to announce include renowned harpist and @abcclassic presenter Genevieve Lang, in-demand percussionist Claire Edwards and extraordinary acapella group @theideaofnorth . The full program and booking details will be online at www.taschamberfestival.com.au by late February. The all-inclusive Festival Pass will include six concerts, welcome cocktails, opening night party, afternoon tea and lunch. From late February, bookings can be made on line at www.taschamberfestival.com.au and through the Theatre North Box Office by calling 6331 0052. Stay tuned for updates!

17.01.2022 Dear friends of the Tasmanian Chamber Music Festival, I hope you are all holding up well in these uncertain times. At this stage, we are still looking forward to bringing divine chamber music to the picturesque northern Tasmanian midlands in October 2020.... The health and wellbeing of our friends and our community is our number one priority and as such we will continue to monitor the situation closely, and will keep you informed accordingly. You can also stay-up-to-date with plans for this year’s Tasmanian Chamber Music Festival by liking our Facebook and Instagram pages. I’d like to reassure those who have already purchased tickets will be eligible for refunds in the worst case scenario, however we are optimistic about the festival going ahead as planned. While physically attending any concerts in the near future may be impossible, thankfully there are a number of terrific initiatives stepping up to fill the void. Brilliant music is one of life’s best antidotes I’d encourage you to check out the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra’s Daily Dose via the link below to get your fill. https://www.tso.com.au/tso-daily-dose/ Please look after yourselves, stay well and keep your spirits high. Kind regards Allanah Dopson

16.01.2022 Visiting beautiful Georgian Evandale really is like taking a step back in time. If you couldn’t make it to this year’s festival do yourself a favour and put Evandale in your itineraries for later. (Photo credit @Trust Magazine)

16.01.2022 A huge thanks to The Mercury Newspaper's Linda Smith and Kirsty Eade for the wonderful article in Saturday's TasWeekend magazine. We are very grateful for the coverage and support!

13.01.2022 World class chamber music is wonderful by itself, but when performed in unique venues such as Brickendon Estate's magnificent barn the experience is truly unforgettable.

11.01.2022 The Tasmanian Chamber Music Festival shares the northern Tasmanian midlands with many wonderful animals. We’re pretty sure these sheep are fans of Baaa-ch. #pun #sorry

05.01.2022 The contrast between Orava Quartet’s thrilling intensity and the calming beauty of Hagley’s St. Mary’s Church was simply spell-binding.
