09.01.2022 On behalf of Tasmanian filmmakers we want to express our sorrow at this news, and send all best wishes to Vanessa Goodwin and her loved ones at this time. Vanessa's support of filmmakers and genuine engagement with the film community has been appreciated and felt by us all. We are very sad to know that she will not be continuing as our Minister.

03.01.2022 Screen Tasmania has released its new Strategic Plan for 2017-21. Draft Program Guidelines (ie the practical implementation of priorities) will be released in the next week or two and a *consultation process* will ensue, which we encourage Tasmanian filmmakers to participate in. We will update TaFA members on other relevant information as it comes to hand... but in the meantime have a read of the Strat Plan document. #tasfilm
