25.01.2022 Hi Guys - if you get a sec please support our good friends at the Clayfield Seafood Market who have been nominated for Triple Ms Best Fish & Chips. Big supporters and lovers of Tasmania (ex-pats). Takes 2 seconds and your support this great little famiy business.

24.01.2022 Are you kidding me? In Tasmania your adventures are measured not by the breaths you take but the moments that take your breath away! This early morning t...rek through Cradle Mountain has to be seen to be believed, as does a magical sunrise from The Neck on Bruny Island, how about sunrise above the clouds from the summit of kunanyi/Mt Wellington, a spectacular Milky Way above one of the best boat sheds on our East Coast or a pretty special photo of a dolphin jumping for joy at Adventure Bay on Bruny Island. The path to Silver Falls in the foothills of kunanyi/Mt Wellington is simply stunning, as is blue hour at the beautiful Richmond Bridge, sitting on the edge of Leven Canyon, sunrise from Mersey Bluff lighthouse and the beautiful view from the top of Cape Bruny lighthouse on South Bruny Island. There are of course plenty more places to also include in your next Tassie adventure. We love to share your Tassie potos with the world You can inbox us or post to our wall. If you are on instagram you can tag either of our accounts via the hashtags #TasmaniaGram or #InstaTasmania #Tasmania

Each of the guides is loosely based on routes in the downloadable map and run sequentially (as you travel), rather than alphabetically, for greater ease of use and can be printed or downloaded to your device for off-line use... 14.01.2022 Vertigo anyone! Check out this 15 seconds looking over the Gordon Dam... hear the wind whistling! We even missed a beat when the shoelaces started flapping arou...nd in the wind :) Thanks to Taren Fontaine for sharing her great little video... "Over the Edge" Located in Tassies south-west, 160 kms from Hobart and 12 kms beyond Strathgordon, the Gordon Dam is an amazing feat of engineering. You will also love the spectacular drive in, through the mountains and lakes. Built in 1974 the concrete dam wall (the highest in the State) stretches 140 metres high and is arched both horizontally and vertically. The Dam wall is higher than the Sydney Harbour Bridge and holds back thirty times more water than Sydney Harbour. Not happy with just looking over the edge... Adrenalin junkies have the opportunity to abseil down the Gordon with Aardvark Adventures :) Abseiling at the Gordon Dam has been included in the Top 10 Adrenaline activities in the world today! It is the trip of a lifetime! #Tasmania #TasmaniaGram #InstaTasmania You can also follow Taren on instagram: www.instagram.com/aussiegirladventurer

09.01.2022 Dolphin superpod What an incredible video thanks to Emma Darby who was holidaying in Tassie and filmed this amazing superpod just off Wineglass Bay on the F...reycinet Peninsula :) There was also a superpod, of over 1000 dolphins, yesterday at Eaglehawk Neck on the Tasman Peninsula. This time of the year is when dolphins love visiting our waters. Some of the reasons they form superpods, with dolphins from many different families, are to gather food, to mate and simply to socialise... and of course they want to do it in Tasmania :) #Tasmania We love to see your videos. You can inbox us or post to our wall. Then we can share with the world.
