23.01.2022 Meet the Team Claire Director and co founder of TIB Systems. Married to Max, 3 children (Angie, Naomi & Rick) and Noodle to 9 grandchildren.... Claire’s role is the administrator to the business aka the Real Boss. In the early days she worked hands on as they say, for several years performing QA checks for Coke state wide until such time they were able to employ staff to take over the role. Claire’s relaxation time includes going to a locally operated gym on a daily basis a chance to keep fit, get out of the office and enjoy the company of many of their members. Claire’s recent achievement outside work was doing the 3 Capes Walk a good way to test your fitness, but having such amazing scenery around them all the time made the sometimes challenging tracks worth every bit of the sore muscles.

19.01.2022 Meet the Team Max Director and founder of TIB Systems, married to Claire, 3 children (Angie, Naomi and Rick) and Poppy to 9 beautiful grandchildren.... In 1995, after 10 years working with a local brewery as a service technician, Max decided to start up his own business along with wife, Claire. Their first customers were Royal Oak and Star Bar and after more than 20 years they still have the TIBS team conducting a regular maintenance service. One of the business highlights for Max was being the contractor for the installation of the beer systems for Spirits I, II & III. Along with other contractors, he joined on board the boat in Hobart, which began the coastline journey up the coast, across to Melbourne and back home via King Island finishing at Devonport. Several years ago he had the opportunity to sail again but slightly smaller vessel joining 3 other close friends sailing and motoring their way around Tasmania in a 10-15 metre yacht. Max’s vision is for the business to continue to be successful with the dedicated staff currently employed even long after he retires which is the question when!

17.01.2022 Today we said farewell to Nick, our first employee. In 2000 our business was at the point to start employing staff. Along came Nick Mithen.... Hand written resume dropped at the house. Next the interview, dressed in a suit, shirt and tie! Who would not employ this keen young man.... In the 20 years Nick has been with us, we have witnessed going from bachelor life, marriage and 2 children. His passion for his work never waned and we are grateful that from his love of his job, he continued to help build our business along with an ongoing rapport with our customers. He became known as the guru for auditing beverage equipment for CC Amatil at McDonald and went to mainland Victoria for a week on their behalf visiting over 12 stores. Hence nickname "Ronald" Nick thanks for all your contribution you have always given to our business. We wish you well in your new phase of life with your new employer. Last word......any missing tools from last 20 years located at various outlets will be a reminder of you, but then could we forget you!!

17.01.2022 Tasmanian Independent Beverage Systems would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all the Fire & Emergency Service personnel who are putting their lives on the line to save our state! Being a statewide company we are seeing the damage these fires have caused all over our state! Thank you for your selfless actions!

12.01.2022 Heady beer can be caused by the build up of bacteria, yeast and mould within a beer line. Dirty beer lines lower the quality and taste of beer. It is important to regularly clean beer lines, faucets, and keg couplers to ensure the dispense of high quality beer.... Here is Rick from Tasmanian Independent Beverage Systems doing a beer line clean in one of our regular establishments. Contact us today 0418 543 751 to be added to our list of regular service clients and let us tell you the additional benefits of hiring professionals to service your beer systems.

07.01.2022 Meet the Team Nick Mithen 18 years service with Tas Independent Beverage Systems covering all aspects of beer wine and post mix reticulation systems.... Most enjoyable parts of being a part of TIB Systems are - The great rapport built over the years with great customers; - Being part of a small but very dedicated team that do their best to accommodate each and every customer. Several years ago, TIB Systems was approached by Coca Cola to send someone to Victoria. I was given that task and spent a week travelling from Lakes Entrance back to Melbourne visiting and performing works at all 7 McDonalds stores in just 5 days. My work colleagues hence nick named me Ronald and continued the joke with logo on the work van to see how long it took to for me to notice my name change !! Favourite past time- Go Cart Racing for many years with moderate success coming 2nd in Victorian Open Titles. Now retired from that I now enjoy watching motor racing. playing golf and watching my own 2 children Sophie and Oscar excel at their own sports Taekwondo and Soccer.
