24.01.2022 Dear TMCC Member Over the last week your committee has been closely following the unfolding events surrounding the COVID-19 Pandemic. We have also been keenly observing the recommendations and best advice around social distancing and the guidelines around the conduct of non-essential meetings and gatherings. While it may be technically possible to run a meeting and be just inside the current requirements, would this be a sensible or responsible thing to do? Primarily from a h...ealth and safety perspective but also considering the fiscal perspective of running a meeting if no one were to choose to attend. From the rapidity of change over the last week a decision made today would in all likelihood be outdated tomorrow. The restrictions and guidelines are only heading in one direction, that being more restrictive, on Sunday the 22nd of March the Prime Minister stated that the government is expecting this pandemic to last, at the very least, six months. As such, committee announces with regret and a deep sense of disappointment, that the TMCC will immediately suspend ride day and race meetings until further notice. We appreciate this is a difficult decision but we genuinely have the best interests of our riders, racers, volunteers and the community, at the forefront of our minds in taking this action. As the COVID-19 pandemic unfolds over the coming months the committee will continue to follow the situation and will reassess month by month when an appropriate time to recommence meetings has arrived. 19.01.2022 An awesome days racing again today, some great riding and some incredible mid field and back of the pack battles A huge thank you to everyone that gave their time to act as flag marshals and other officials. These people are vital to running a safe and successful day, thank you on behalf of the TMCC committee. One quick request, if anyone comes across a radio in their gear could you let me know, we have misplaced one today.

17.01.2022 As a result of an incident at Round 2 at Symmons Plains on 2nd September that caused the race meeting to be cancelled, the TMCC Committee has resolved to enforce the General Competition Rules (GCRs) in relation to competition motorcycles. Motorcycles presented to scrutineering that do not comply with the GCRs will not be allowed to race until they do comply. It is the responsibility of the rider or team manager to ensure compliance with the rules.
