04.01.2022 One of our favourite things about the trout expo is family groups and friends getting together and enjoying quality time. It's a quiet, gentle day, with happy chatter and laughter in the background, picnics and BBQs, a relaxing, peaceful time. Sure there are fish to catch and great prizes, but the biggest prize is the happy times.

04.01.2022 Today, 22 students participated in the Australian Schools Trout Fishing Championships at Brumbys Creek. It was great to see teams working together and helping each other out. We finished the day with 5 fish. A big thank you to everyone involved!

02.01.2022 Thank you everybody for your involvement in this years trout expo. Many thanks to our sponsors Hyrdo Tasmania, Petuna seafoods and Inland Fisheries and all others who contribute to the expo. Also thank you to the Cressy community for their volunteering over the last 3 days and the expo committee for their organisation during the year. ... We had over 180 fish caught over the last three days and it was great to see so many visitors to Brumby’s Creek area. Also if you missed the event there are still plenty of fish in the river only today 2 expo regulars caught 10 rainbow trout between them with the biggest being 2.3 kg. Don’t forget to get your licence and get out to Cressy and bag a trout or visit one of the other fantastic trout waters in Tassie. Hope we see you again next year All the best Trout Expo Committee
