21.01.2022 Hi all TUHA members, We are hosting the 2021 Australian Underwater Hockey Nationals here in Hobart, from 3 April to 8 April 2021. With the date change, the TUHA Committee is re-calling for Expressions of Interest for a Nationals Committee with the following positions: Convenor Responsible for the successful organisation and running of the competition.... Treasurer Responsible for the budget and coordination of monies related to the tournament. Volunteer Coordinator Responsible for finding and allocating volunteers where needed. Equipment Coordinator Responsible for the allocation and setting up of equipment needed for the competition. Media and Promotions Coordinator Responsible for the website and promotion of the comp. Streaming Coordinator Responsible for coordinating the streaming of the tournament. Referee Coordinator Responsible for organising the referees. The committee encourages all TUHA members to get involved in this competition in some capacity. If you wish to apply for any of the above roles please send an email at [email protected] to the committee by 2 December 2021. 17.01.2022 POOL UPDATE FOR THIS MONDAY 7th December 2020 The DKHAC has been planning for some time to replace our out of date scoreboard.... We can no longer source parts for the existing scoreboard and need to replace it ready for the busy year ahead. A small worksite will be established at the scoreboard end of the 50 metre pool from Monday 7th December. There will be minor disruptions as the existing scoreboard is removed and replaced. Access to amenities in this area will remain the same. The worksite will be clearly marked however, we recommend accessing the 50 metre pool lanes from the Dive Pool end where practicable for the week ahead. This is another necessary but exciting upgrade that we’re pleased to have underway. Regards, DKHAC

08.01.2022 Hi all, The 2021 Australian UWH National Championships will be held in Hobart from Saturday 3 April 2021 to Thursday 8 April 2021 inclusive. The TUHA Committee would also like to invite expressions of interest for Coaches.... The divisions are yet to be confirmed and subject to numbers of teams: Open Elite Women Open Masters Multiple Junior teams We are also calling for expressions of interest for a Tasmanian State team manager.
