A BUSHFIRE WATCH AND ACT MESSAGE FOR LEFROY Issued At: 04/03/2015 2:56pm There is an uncontrolled bushfire at Lefroy. This fire may put Lefroy at high risk within 5-10 minutes. There may be embers, smoke and ash falling on Lefroy and threaten your home earlier than the main fire. Fire under these conditions can be difficult to control. What to do: If your home is well prepared and actively defended, it should provide shelter. If you are going to leave, make sure you have a clear path to a safer place. 02.01.2022 We at Bendigo SES are devastated to have lost one of our own. Donna Grayland was a member with us for over 7 years. After a very private and courageous battle ...with cervical cancer, she passed away on Tuesday. Donna's funeral will be held next Wednesday. Please refer to today's The Bendigo Advertiser for details. Our heartfelt sympathies go to Donna's partner Briana Burgin, daughter Dani Austin and all her friends and family. Vale Donna. You will be sorely missed.
