13.01.2022 It has been quite difficult to see the bush fire in action on Visit Fraser Island over the past few weeks - particularly as it could have been very easily avoided on this occasion. Always remember, if you are fortunate to visit Fraser Island or any one of Visit Queensland, Australia’s National Parks, always take heed of QPWS warnings and rules. Fire bans are in place for a reason, and if you are permitted to have camp fires, please put them out properly! These parts of Fraser Island will bounce back, will rejuvenate and will be back to the green, rainforest wonder we all marvel at. Bring it on!
