08.01.2022 Our very own Surgeon Dr Nitin Verma was delighted to have received these handcrafted toys this morning from The Stitch and Share Ladies Group from Margate Tasmania. These toys will be sent to children in East Timor as part of Tasmanian Medical Volunteers, which is a charity operated by Hobart Eye Surgeons for supporting projects, such as the East Timor Eye Program in developing countries. We would like to thank Helen Wilson, Judy Norman and the entire The Stitch and Share Ladies Group for their generous time spent crafting these gifts. They will be well enjoyed and give the children much pleasure and comfort just in time for Christmas.
