05.01.2022 A tradify study has found that 40% of Aussie tradies spend more than 12 hours on Admin. That doesn't include all the other non-operational or painting related tasks. The super early mornings getting ready and prepared for the day's projects. The late afternoon and evenings...... - picking up paint for the next morning because you're got an early start. - squeezing in that quote on the way home because you've got no time to do it during the day. - checking and replying to emails - doing paperwork - trying to finish off the 4 quotes that have been sitting on you desk for 2 weeks. - working out the progress invoices to send out. - going through all the invoices from suppliers to check if they've invoiced the correct products and amounts. - fumbling through writing an add for seek because you need another reliable painter...and gumtree isn't as good as people tell you it is... - reviewing how the jobs are going to make sure you're going to finish on time and make some money at the end of it. - and if we aren't too exhausted from a 12 hour day...we try to find time to review and see what we could do to improve our business...
