20.01.2022 You all asked for this recipe! Be sure to save this one FODMAP friendly veal and soba noodle Pho (serves 4) INGREDIENTS ... 1.5L (6 cups) Massels beef stock 1 cinnamon stick 2 star anise 1 fresh lime 1 tsp ginger, minced 1 stalk of lemongrass 2 tablespoons fish sauce 375g pkt rice noodles (or soba noodles for a non-FODMAP option) 500g veal fillet, excess fat trimmed 200g bean sprouts 4 spring onions (green leaves only), thinly sliced diagonally 2-4 small fresh red chillies (or to taste), thinly sliced 1 cup fresh basil leaves 1 cup fresh coriander leaves METHOD 1. Combine beef stock, cinnamon stick, ginger lemongrass and star anise in a medium saucepan over high heat. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 5 minutes or until aromatic. Stir in fish sauce. 2. Cook rice (or soba) noodles in a large pan of boiling water until just tender. Drain well. 3. Slice veal into 5mm-thick slices. 4. Divide noodles among serving bowls. Top with bean sprouts, spring onion, chilli, coriander, basil and raw beef. Pour over hot stock and serve with fresh lime.

13.01.2022 It’s getting hot in here .... so drink your god damn fluids. This is a reminder that all drinks count towards your hydration! Water is the best choice, but other drinks like milk, tea, coffee, soup and this frozen berry blitz also count. Drinking icy cold drinks is more enjoyable, which makes us drink more! So chill those drinks on hot days like today. ... INGREDIENTS: 1 cup of frozen berries (I used strawberries and raspberries) 1/2 cup water METHOD 1. Add all ingredients into a high speed blender. 2. Blitz until smooth. 3. Serve.
