22.01.2022 We are still buzzing from the success of our first Double Seated Sulky race for season 2 at the Australian Drivers Championship. Our participants, drivers and Tasracing team were all thrilled to meet Richmond premiership star Jack Riewoldt! Jack participated in the race and had a great experience not only in the sulky but afterwards at the TTC function where he had the opportunity to meet footy and racing fans alike. The race was taken out by local Hayden Clarke pictured belo...w wearing the Tasracing blue and checked silks. Hayden made the winning bid for the final ticket in this event as part of the Tasmanian Trotting Clubs auction for Give Me 5 For Kids. Congratulations also to our other participants Brad Wolfe and Tommy Strang who enjoyed this one of a kind experience while helping the TTC raise funds for charity. Stay tuned for video footage of this awesome experience on the track! Don't forget to follow our Facebook page to keep up to date with future events.

05.01.2022 The first meeting of the Double Seated Sulkies Season 2 is fast approaching and we thought it would be a great time to share our first drivers’ profile. Ricky Duggan is one of Tasmanians most well-known and respected drivers. His reputation has been well earned over an incredible career of with 2,627 placings from 9,224 starts. That’s an amazing 28.5% strike rate for placings. Experienced reinsman Ricky has worked hard for his outstanding skills and knowledge of harness racin...g by working with an exceptionally long list of trainers and horses over the years, hard work that gained him the title of the first Tasmanian driver to record 1,600 wins. Ricky’s impressive resume includes wins at Tasmanian Sires Stakes Finals, Devonport Pacing Cups and the Launceston Pacing Clubs Easter Cup - just to name a few. He has also represented the state in the Australian Drivers Championship, an honour he is repeating this weekend at Ladroke’s Elwick Park alongside Mark Yole. Ricky has driven several participants in our Double Seated Sulky races during the first season and will no doubt be a familiar face throughout our second season.
