25.01.2022 Far out, Fluff!!! There she is again, not only with her glass bottle of BYO alcohol (that will very soon be confiscated), but now she's brought someone under the age of 18 to the Rally!!!! A reminder that ID will once again be checked at the gate as you come in, and if you look under 25, you'll need to produce a Driver's licence or equivalent This is a licensed event, so it's against the law for us to let in anyone under 18.... (Please note - this is not a new rule, Tas Rally has been an 18+ event since forever )
24.01.2022 27 days to go!! Make sure you remind each other to do this once you get in the gates - we've seen plenty of people sleeping on top of unrolled tents because they started drinking before setting up! ;) Any other tips you'd like to share?

"GetinBetta At Nietta" After the hugely successful Tas Rally 2019 Better in Nietta MRA North West are hosting Tas Rally for a second consecuti...ve year in the same picturesque location of Nietta in North West Tasmania between the 6th and 9th of March 2020! Our fine friends on the Northwest MRA committee and their volunteers will be taking the reigns again for next year. 20.01.2022 WANTED: Volunteers to help keep the Toy Run running! Without support from volunteers this event will end, Our 40th Toy Run is next year and without everyone's help it may not happen! If you're interested or know somebody who is please message us on Facebook with your name and mobile contact details or alternatively you can email us your details at: [email protected] with your name and mobile contact details.... Tag a mate who isn't riding this year and can help down at Salamanca Place on Saturday December 1st!!
17.01.2022 Our update on the 2020 Toy Run, Tas Rally 2021 will proceed as planned at this stage, it is expected by March 2021 we will have no problems with an open air event such as Tas Rally.

15.01.2022 *** UPCOMING APRIL & MAY EVENTS CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC *** South MRA Regretfully advises that we have cancelled the upcoming Annual MRA South Easter... Time Bunny Run for 2020 and will be postponing the Tasmanian Volunteer Fire Brigade Fundraiser Ride until later in the year. We have made the decision in the interests of complying with Government Social Distancing and Health recommendations, we will however reschedule the event as soon as we are given direction from the State and Federal Government that it is safe to conduct public events again. We are sure that you understand the difficulties facing the world at the moment, We look forward to advising a new date for the Volunteer Firefighters Fundraiser ride as soon as it is safe to do so. 12.01.2022 Hey guys, MC Fluff here! From the bottom of my heart, I want to say a huuuuuge thank you to everyone who came and supported MRA Tas Rally 2018! It means so much to our committee, that you all partied/drank/rode/danced/sang/played with us. It's a lot of work to put together, but we do it for you guys, and because we love it as well. We hope everyone got home safely. ... I sang my heart out, danced my legs off, talked so much I lost my voice, played a dangerous wheel-spinning game, got married twice (without even knowing it!!), and had the best long weekend ever, yet again. And do you know what the best part is? It's only 361 sleeps until TAS RALLY 2019 - BETTER AT NIETTA!!!!!!! I'll see you there

05.01.2022 GOT WOOD?! (Yes, that's a serious question!) Please don't bring your own firewood to the Rally. MRA committee members have cut, chopped and stacked tonnes of wood for purchase this year - and all sales go directly towards funding the Toy Run in December.... If you BYO, we'll consider it a kind donation to the cause, and collect it from you at the gate Wood will be sold at $5 an armload, so send your biggest, strongest camp mates (like Fluff here) to collect it for you, for the best value for money!!!
