25.01.2022 We are on our way. Interviewed by win and 7 news before we left the domain. Check engine light came in for a bit but mysteriously disappeared so all good.

24.01.2022 Great lazy Sunday Arvo at the Longley International. Three Tassie teams raised $300 each. The shitbox is ready to go just a bit of smoke we need to sort out. Thanks to my lot that turned up and also donated.

22.01.2022 Birdsville to Jundah. No dresses back to race suits.

22.01.2022 Day 1 of our journey. We decided we should stay in some comfort because we will be in tents for a week. Turns out Craig has some unfortunate light sleeping issues. Always on edge and listening when he sleeps. Very strange. Thankfully he found solace in another part of our luxury hotel room.

21.01.2022 First day great fun super dry up here. Wentworth for the night then dirt roads all day tomorrow. No break downs yet.

21.01.2022 Excise the horn noise. One of the other Tassie teams hooked our horn up to the break lights.

21.01.2022 Out of phone range for a bit. Just landed into Birdsville, last night we were in Noccundra. Amazing country side. The golden Sauna is travelling beautifully. Few tyre blowouts in our group and a rock through the sump of the Volvo which Craig fixed with some roofing iron and silicone. Op shop gender swap today.

14.01.2022 Made it to Hughenden 593 kms our last night before we drive to Townsville tomorrow. What a brilliant way to see Australia. We’ve met some amazing people and had a truck load of laughs.

12.01.2022 Day 2 first day on dirt roads 80-100 kms in the sauna and after 500 kms arrived in white cliffs. No showers here probably because it doesn’t looked like it’s rained for 20 years. Dry and dusty but good pub and food for 500 people. Car is going great so far - Gilligans island theme day.

10.01.2022 We made it The Golden Sauna despite giving it a flogging over some of the most unforgiving dirt roads made it without any dramas not even a blown tire. It was awesome awesome fun.
