08.01.2022 We have confirmed our sponsors are continuing their support for our next book fair - this includes printing of posters etc and radio advertising in the month leading up to the fair. What can you do to let your readers know about the book fair?
05.01.2022 We have decided to postpone the Tassie Indie Author Book Fair to May 2021 - I don't want to say we've cancelled this year; we are just putting it off a bit. If you registered for 2020 - we have kept your registration in place for next year. Registrations will remain open in the lead up to the 2021 event.
05.01.2022 Dear Book Fair participants and friends After serious consideration we have decided to postpone the Tassie Indie Author Book Fair. We are currently living in uncertain times, and feel that the risks are too high to continue in May. ... If we were to go ahead, we would expect that many of our participants would unable to attend. We would also be unlikely attract any sort of audience under the current conditions, making it unviable. Therefore, we are currently considering October as an alternative. We intend to continue promotion and registrations with a date to be confirmed. We will contact each participant who has paid their registration fee to consider the best way forward. This may include keeping your place for the next fair or a refund. We thank you for your understanding in this difficult time.
