25.01.2022 I just love BOOK WEEK. What a fantastic opportunity to read some fabulous books and explore some nursery rhymes while wearing costumes. Fun week ahead!!

19.01.2022 Looking at the special male role models in our lives & some of the different family situations. We had lots of role play with various occupations that men do including being a dad.

18.01.2022 Creating a winter experience from water play, to ice exploration, shaving cream, penguins & polar bears, snowmen & cold colour activities. It has been such a fun week. Unfortunately the rain has put a dampener on our snow play (lux flakes) but hopefully tomorrow!

17.01.2022 Starting our week by looking at different places that people/animals live due to a lovely person donating a birds nest to our service. This will extend on our polar ice play from last week when we looked at living in the arctic. I think this is going to be a lovely connection to nature & families and Im excited to see where our learning leads us

11.01.2022 Great purchase for our outdoor mud kitchen. 10 litre water jug with a tap the children can easily turn on & off themselves. Amazing learning experience for a group of children who are only just getting into the "hands on" discovery. I can see tomorrow our gumboots will get a work out as its going to become a slightly bigger mud patch as they become accustomed to the freedom of digging.

10.01.2022 Keeping science week fairly simple due to the ages of children involved this year. Looking at a simple chemical reaction with bi- carb & vinegar, what do magnets attract to, home made moon sand & watching the coloured water transfer from one vessel to another .
