25.01.2022 Happy Valentines Day to all the lovers out there! Today I watched (and photographed) as two https://t.co/cJyPFBjJGR

25.01.2022 All weddings are special and unique to the couple but there is always a little something else in the air for those small, intimate ceremonies attended by a handful of guests. Katie + Mark had such a wedding and it was expertly covered by the wonderful and talented Sarah Aktag https://saraheliza.com.au/katie-mark/

24.01.2022 Showing that lockdown definitely isnt stifling creativity! How amazing is this?

21.01.2022 So many tears of joy being shed in this household right now. When the majority says YES, the federal parliament has to listen. We want this, time to do the job you are paid for!

20.01.2022 On the 9th of December 2017 the changes to the Marriage Law to end discrimination against same sex couples came into effect. On the 28th of February this year I performed the legals for J + K whose commitment ceremony, the marriage of their hearts and minds, I had conducted for them exactly two years previously. These two women are such incredible people and it was so emotional being there to help complete their marriage journey. To themselves and to their family and friend...s they were married on that day in 2016, the government just took a little while to catch up Congratulations to all the couples who have been able to marry since the law change and also to those whose overseas marriages were finally recognised! To have been a part of history has been truly humbling. * Picture of J + K with their rings. Those on their left hands are from their 2016 ceremony and those on their right hands from their vow renewal in February this year.

20.01.2022 Gorgeous photos by the lovely Anita! :) Aimee + Liam were an absolute delight to work with crafting a ceremony that was perfect for them. I love watching that raw emotion when they exchange vows. Its beautiful!

20.01.2022 I know some couples this would be perfect for!

19.01.2022 With only 4 no votes, the bill has passed! Marriage Equality is now a reality for this country. Saturday 9th December is the magic day when it becomes law. My heart is lighter today and I think to the future of all the joy I will get to witness, all the relationships finally having the proper recognition they deserve. This is a win for love, this is acceptance of those felt maligned by society, and its a historic day I will never forget. A few changes to come to the website in the coming week :)

17.01.2022 210. Thats the amount of times I have said the top words in my legally required Monitum during wedding ceremonies. NO MORE!... From the 9th of December I get to say the statement at the bottom instead. The right to marry in Australia will no longer be determined by sex or gender. The new Notice of Intended Marriage form has the following boxes to tick when filling in your details - Male, Female or X. This. Is. Huge. When you say your legally required vows you dont have to say husband or wife if you dont wish to, you can say spouse instead (husband and wife are still useable!) As the fact sheet says - the term spouse can refer to a male, female, intersex, non-binary gender or transgender person. As a pansexual person I identify with the LGBTQI community. I cant even begin to describe how this would have made me feel as a 16 year old. Much love to the beautiful community today - YOU belong. All of you

14.01.2022 Such a rejuvenating start to a Sunday morning! Imagine getting married at this time? Gentle waves lapping at the shore, a crispness to the air, bird song heralding this new chapter in https://t.co/RW0lsKayq3

13.01.2022 My last wedding for 2017 included this awesome sword (borrowed from the brides ex-husband) and a couple that know how to have fun whilst still giving the weight and emotional importance to their wedding day. They married at the fairy circle along the Pipeline Track with a handful of people and a whole lot of love! My first wedding for 2018 is tomorrow and there will be even more swords! And I get to carry a staff. Jess + Shane are tying the knot, World of Warcraft style - bring it on! :) What an incredibly exciting and fun way to kick off the 2018 weddings.

13.01.2022 What is happening across our country is truly devastating. The people, the animals, the land are all in pain. It is everywhere you look. Please, if you can, donate. Our firies (and those brought in from overseas to help) are doing an incredible job in the worst of circumstances and they are heroes without a doubt. I chose to donate to the Red Cross but other organisations (like those caring for our sick and injured wildlife or those helping provide supplies to those on the front line) need help. https://www.redcross.org.au//disaster-relief-and-recovery-

12.01.2022 Two weddings. Two gorgeous locations by the water. Two very happy and in love couples. This was my Saturday! Love my job (More details to follow later )

12.01.2022 That moment when you are about to start an elopment and the couple very sweetly offer to take a picture of some travellers in front of the iconic Richmond Bridge. Nathan + Erin are just gorgeous people inside and out and as one of the witnesses commented "So relaxed!" I was honoured to help them make it all legal in July.
