19.01.2022 With the Tasmanian border opening to some mainland states on 26th October, Tassie Face Mask Project is busy helping to prepare Tasmanians for what comes next. The lovely Gail Woodgate from U3A in Port Sorrel has been busy coordinating a wonderful group in her area to help with our project. 04.01.2022 It was a privilege to collaborate with St Giles Society and be invited to attend Niche Market Bazaar that was held on the weekend. We are very grateful to have had a very successful day getting masks and kits out there and teaching the community about safely wearing face masks in the event of an outbreak in Tasmania. We would like to thank everyone behind the scenes who helped us get ready for the market, assisted on the day, and to the the amazing individuals and businesses for their continuing support throughout the project and for this event.

The boxes allow our sewists to "post" their masks that fall into a "linen bag" so they don't need to be touched when they are taken to be medically laundered. 01.01.2022 We could not be more proud of Anna While we were in lockdown, Anna contacted us to see if she could make masks for Tassie Face Masks as a school project. She has done an incredible job, and yesterday we had the privilege of being with her when she handed her wonderful creations over to Khalsa Aid Australia who will distribute them to vulnerable people in the community.
