20.01.2022 So I hear a lot about LAST FROST DATES and every year I get caught out so I went on a sticky-beak mission to the BOM website. Below is the Coldest dates for November and October the last 10 years from the Launceston weather station. I know where we are it's always 3-5oC colder than launceston at night. 06.01.2022 Hi. Thanks for coming to have a look at our page. We are a new small business born out of the Corona virus era where there was a great demand for seeds and new interest in garden growing. On our Tamar Valley hobby farm, we were already keen seed savers of open pollinated heirloom varieties and learnt that others also had a great appreciation for quality, local, acclimatised Tassie seeds. This paired with the strict biosecurity laws on bringing seeds into the state meant we... knew we had something to offer. Please visit our shop and hopefully you find something you like ready for summer planting! For now, we are just new but have great plans for new and rare varieties to help keep your garden interesting. We will be hitting the markets this summer with seeds, seed related products and ways to make dealing with seeds easier.
