23.01.2022 Future Tasmania, the 2020 CCYP Ambassador zine is now live! Engage with Tasmanian and young people’s hopes and desires for their future, expressed through m...ultimedia and brought together in a digital magazine or ‘zine’. The zine showcases the creative works of the 2020 CCYP Ambassadors from around Tasmania, focusing on three key areas they identified as being of particular concern to Tasmania’s future: - Climate change and the environment - Mental health - Equality and diversity. Through the zine, you can immerse yourself in the young Tasmanians’ digital works: watch, see, listen and read their thoughts on these pressing issues and learn what is important to Tasmania’s future leaders and community members. And don’t miss out on cameo appearances by Tasmania’s leaders, including the Governor and Premier! View the zine online at http://zine2020.childcomm.tas.gov.au #zine2020 #hearmyvoicetas #CCYPambassadors #futuretasmania #politas #lgat #tasmania

06.01.2022 Thank you to all who attended our AGM last week. It was wonderful to have so many of you to join us from all around the state and online. It was a successful night with 2 of 3 motions passing and multiple attendees expressing their interest in joining TASSO. As for the motions:... TASSO’s new constitution passed and became effective immediately. This will mean that TASSO is compliant with modern standards. Here is a link for those interested: https://bit.ly/2FT07MH TASSO will continue our long-standing membership to ACSSO. The Workplace Law for Students motion did not pass, however, it has been identified worthy for investigation by the board.
