24.01.2022 Ever wondered what's in a feeding therapist's tool kit? At my workshop on Monday participants had the chance to rummage through and try many different bits and pieces from my favourite therapy resources and tools. This colourful spread features knives from @Foost.com.au, @mealswithmilton (who sold out!!), @grabease.au cutlery, @ezpz_aus_nz suction plates, @doidycup cups, @arktherapeutic chew stix, @booninc feeding equipment, @sistema_plastics bottles, and the game changing @throatscope . I love a good snoop through other people's stuff What's your favourite feeding therapy tool at the moment??

05.01.2022 What a day!! Feeling incredibly lucky to get to work alongside these astoundingly talented feeding therapists @nextchallengekids who were incredible supports today when I ran my first ever Taste Buds feeding workshop! Sold out workshop, so much enthusiasm in the room, fantastic clinical questions... Amazing! Sitting here, reflecting on the day, I have such a deep feeling of gratitude to be so lucky to be able to work with such knowledgeable, caring & supportive colleagues AND that I have had the opportunity to spend the day indulging in my passion - paediatric feeding. Feeling BIG LOVE

05.01.2022 Love a good bargain! For those of you who attended my workshop last week; if you buy a @throatscope using your promo code at the moment, you can get a starter pack delivered to you for only $36! Quick, get onto it! (They have a sale at the moment any way even if you don't have a code). This tool is my MOST used and valuable feeding tool : @throatscope

04.01.2022 Reindeer Biscuits! What's a reindeer's favourite treat? Carrot biscuits of course! I've been making these in therapy sessions to help #fussyeater kids to learn all about CARROT. These are actually the Carrot Cake Cookies from @goodiegoodielunchbox with choc chips added instead of sultanas. . To make these, you will need: 1/2 cup low flavoured oil, 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar,... 1 egg, 1 tspn orange zest, 1 tspn vanilla essence, 1 tspn cinnamon, 150g (2 medium) carrot grated, 1/2 choc chips, 1 1/4 cup quick oats, 3/4 cup wholemeal SR flour. . Combine all wet ingredients together, then add remaining ingredients & mix well. With wet hands, roll tablespoons of mixture into balls and flatten gently onto a lined baking tray. Cook at 175deg for 12-14 min (longer for a firmer biscuit). . So yum! Made a batch at home too, and they didn't stand a chance of lasting til Christmas eve. Sorry Rudolph See more
