25.01.2022 Please help out this beautiful man who worked his butt off to earn enough money to live, until a fire whisked away any opportunity he had if selling his business to fund his retirement years. No, Tony did not have business insurance. His earnings were meagre but enough to sustain him. So, he has had to walk away, with nothing. He lost his adored wife a decade ago, almost to the day of the fire . Despite his great loss, he threw himself into his industry. I will miss walking ...by and exchanging a smile and a wave, always. As a community, we'd like to pass on a glimmer of sunshine to help Tony keep going. He gave us, and our kids, many a good Friday night feed of his delicious fish and chips, so its our turn to give back. I'd love your support of this very local community cause. Please dig into your pockets and help Tony move forward and feel the love and care of our generous community. Thank you . #frankstonsouth Frankston Community Noticeboard Frankston Standard Leader Mornington Peninsula Leader Mornington Peninsula Magazine See more

24.01.2022 When you've a household full of snowboarders, our beloved Mornington Peninsula can fade momentarily into second place as a destination for an important birthday celebration when the snowfall is at record levels. Elm Dining at beautiful Bright definitely delivered on service, ambiance, thoughtfully prepared and plated dishes and a wine list to help make locals shine. I adored the intimacy of the 'fireplace-in-every-room' Queen Anne style / Victorian home, accompanied by great food, wine and service. Thank you.

17.01.2022 A year of great dining ahead. Where will you start?!

17.01.2022 AD HOC Mt. Eliza is committed to using Mornington Peninsula produce where possible. The quality of ingredients are brought to life by the exceptional talent of #chef Deon Jansen and his team, while impeccable #frontofhouse, James, excels at making you feel like you absolutely deserve every moment of this fabulous Mount Eliza village dining experience. Today's special Salmon and Israeli Pearl Couscous salad had the healthy-me screaming "YES!" and the foodie-me left wanting to do this all over again tomorrow. #morningtonpeninsulaproduce #morningtonpeninsulawine #morningtonpeninsula #chef #melbournefoodie #healthy #localingredients #mteliza #mounteliza

13.01.2022 In the lull between Masterchef seasons; and having binged on Anthony Bourdain and The Chef's Table, Pasta Grannies is where it's at for inspirational traditional homemade pasta recipes - to accompany Mornington Peninsula ingredients, of course! I love that this YouTube channel is getting such a great following, preserving nonna recipes and techniques for another generation. Enjoy. #morningtonpeninsula #morningtonpeninsulaproduce #pasta Pasta Grannies

06.01.2022 Stellar Short Film Festival was a to-die-for event last night. The weather played out perfectly. Mclelland Sculpture Park and Gallery oozed ambiance and provided a perfect natural amphitheatre for viewing 12 delightfully diverse -many thought provoking, all excellent and a few good laughs too - short films. We laid our picnic rug near the sculpture that captures breezes and transforms them into music which just added to the idyllic, surreal setting. Our picnic packs by Fines...se Catering Group were a perfect balance of deliciousness and quantity. I enjoyed a couple of glasses of Phaedrus Estate Yal Yal Pinot Gris - divine and was tempted by #bassandflinders gin, Roseade spritzers, Dromana Estate wines, Johnny ripe cronuts, Dainton Beer TEN SIXTY ONE by Atlanta ciders, pop'd popcorn and more. And the short films - I could write about them for days. Such talent, thought provoking, and some good laughs too! Congratulations to everyone involved. This was one smooth and ambiant #morningtonpeninsula showcase event. See more
