25.01.2022 On the lathe today, this Eucalypt burl is about the half way point to being finished.
20.01.2022 Today's lathe work. A piece of Huon Pine with a large number of voids, in fact so many that it is now destined to be finished by hand carving. It's always a surprise to see what the wood reveals after I start turning.
