25.01.2022 Hi everyone, we are going Greek this weekend! Slow roasted goat leg with roast potatoes and greek salad. Or beef stifado with potato and salad. And fillo pastry and butter pull apart for dessert. See you at the van!

24.01.2022 Hey everyone- it's raining, its pouring, the food van is not serving! No food can for the next 2 weeks. Thai will be on the menu Saturday 31st when I get back. Hope you all have a lovely 2 weeks and see you soon at the van!

23.01.2022 Hey Mount Magnet. I have been umming and aaahing over coming down tonight. This storm hasn't reached Cue yet but its been blowing hard the last couple of hours and I've battened down the hatches at the house! .I think I'll be risking it to come down to you with a big kite towing behind the truck. So sorry to not be there again this weekend. So as a way of an apology - I'll take requests for the theme for next weekend. Let me know what you would like to have for dinner and I'll see if I can make it happen!

20.01.2022 Hey everyone, man what a week! Borders are opening up in wa, so I've got extra on the van tonight! I'm now doing sloppy Joes with onion rings, and I have bbq wings with chips and pickled vege! Tomorrow night is Mexican. Beef burrito sliders, chicken tortillas, or tacos with black bean and mango salsa with Mexican street corn. And nutella ravioli for dessert. See you at the van!

19.01.2022 HI everyone, in honour of the lovely cold weather we are having, it's time to roll out the winter warmers... Pea and ham soup, made with bacon hocks , lots of barley and vege. Or a rich beef casserole. Both served with home made crusty bread. And for dessert, an old favourite my mum used to make - bread and butter pudding!

17.01.2022 Hey everyone - so the team at Lacys are awesome, they have the truck sorted so I'm back on the road! This weekend there will be shepherds pie and chicken pot pie. 14.01.2022 Hey everyone. I seem to be making a habit of announcing Saturday and Sunday night specials on Friday! So, this weekend we are doing it yee haw style! Slow cooked pork ribs with a Memphis style tomato based sauce, corn on the cob, mash, mango black bean salsa and corn bread for a lowly $15. Where could you get better value in the Murchison? for dessert... banana cream pie or pumpkin pie. See you at the van!

14.01.2022 Hey Lovely mount magnet people. I nearly had a disaster.... felt the trailer towing low last night. It was weird, the floor was sloping toward the truck.... had a look today. I've lost 6 of 8 bolts on the towing frame. Thanks God I didnt head to magnet without checking or I probably would have ended up upside down on the side of the road... off to get it fixed now. 08.01.2022 HI everyone, well. It's been quite a week, and here I am in the van.... and I realise I haven't posted this week. OMG! So, this weekend I'm being adventurous and doing Ethiopian. Yes, you read that right. I bought from teff flour, an ancient grain used to make injera bread,a type of soda bread. And on that bread we do little mounds of beef with basil, berbere chicken, red lentils, cabbage and more. And you, my dear friends and guests can pull that bread apart and scoop up delicious morsels of food to eat - no forks allowed! See you at the van.
