25.01.2022 Hello everyone. So some of the restrictions end tomorrow, Friday. We are allowed to have 10 people sit inside at any one time. So to welcome you back there will be a free scone with every coffee/tea. This is for Friday only. Come and check out our cafe, say Hi and get a free scone with any hot drink.

25.01.2022 Hello and Merry Christmas everyone. Just letting you know that we will be closed Christmas Day but opened every other day. Just keep in mind that there is a 10% surcharge on Public holidays which includes Boxing Day.

24.01.2022 Hello everyone. First Merry Christmas. Tasty Treats@Back Beach will only be closed for Christmas Day. Opening on Boxing Day at 8am until 3pm. Also opening on New Years Day 8 Til 3. Every other day over the holidays we will be open from 8 until 5. Please just note the kitchen closes everyday at 2:30. So just cakes, coffee, cold drinks and ice cream after 2:30. We hope that everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year.

23.01.2022 Good morning. Well it is a sad day here at Tasty Treats, last day of trading as a cafe. No more morning chai on the verandah looking at the creek. Thank you to all that have supported me and my staff over the last few years. 23.01.2022 Good evening everyone. So the Government has decided that as of 12 noon tomorrow, take away food only. Please come in the morning and enjoy Tasty Treats coffee,cakes and treats in house before we close on Tuesday. I have a stock of frozen passion fruit and mashed banana on sale. On Tuesday afternoon may have other closing down specials too. So come and enjoy a last sociable coffee, tomorrow morning before we go into lock down. 22.01.2022 Temporary footbridge closure Please be advised that the existing Back Creek Footbridge at South West Rocks will be closed to pedestrians from Monday 11 Novembe...r to Wednesday 13 November. A crane and excavator will be operating in the area, placing central spans and sewer pipes as part of the construction of the new footbridge. Council would like to thank the community for their patience and understanding while these essential works are carried out. See more

20.01.2022 Well the new bar is nearly ready for sales. Yes a lolly bar now and soon a designer milkshake bar. Shelving to come. From a small idea, and with a friend who thought outside the square the lolly bar is about to happen. Thanks to Paul, Liz and Ron.

19.01.2022 Tasty Treats are happy to welcome South West Rocks Dragon boat crew for their Christmas party. Starters - bruschetta & fruit & cheese platter. Mains - Roast beef & ham with roast veges. Then pavlova and plum pudding for dessert. It smells so yummy in the kitchen!

So please bring cash. From today until the 10th May, if you bring in a coffee card from before and it has 2 or more stamps you will receive a free coffee. New coffee cards are on there way. Craft by Vicki Harding includes beach bags, snap purses and clam bags. Art work by Alice Strutt of the out back dunnies. And hand made cards for most occasions. We are open from 8 till 3 every day of the school holidays including the public holiday.

08.01.2022 Well we have some exciting news. Tasty Treats 2 will be opening Friday 5th June. It is a coffee van situated beside the carpark at Ingenia Holiday Park on Gordon Young Drive. Jy is very excited to be manning the coffee van. Friday will be our test run so will be open 1 to 3 o,clock. Come and enjoy a Tea/Coffee/milkshake or cake. All Takeaway at this stage but may change in the summer. Going forward the coffee van will be open on Saturday/Sunday mornings and Public holidays, from 7 till 11. Come for the early coffee or for morning tea. Hope you will love having another coffee venue. Public, holidayers and residents all welcome.

The menu is a choice of Salmon or Lamb cutlets followed by Desserts of Luscious layers- anzac biscuit crumble, fresh fruits cooked in Blood orange juice and midori and cream or apricot baked custard. We are now operating out of 2/13 Paragon Ave SWR. it is the Take away behind Balls Butchery. Signage and flags should arrive soon. We still can be contacted on 02 5566 6818. 02.01.2022 Good Morning everyone. Just an update. The hearing for the tribunal is now set for Tuesday so cafe is still closed. I can only apologise to anyone who had a booking but fingers crossed and the law is upheld I will be back in next Wednesday. Watch this space for the grand re-opening.
